Mr Eazi has become an international pioneer of African music since breaking into the mainstream with his 2015 hit ‘Skin Tight’. Eazi was born in Nigeria, but relocated to Kumasi, Ghana, for university and has made his name with a distinctive, infectious style he calls “Banku” – a mix of Nigerian and Ghanaian pop, highlife and dancehall. On top of this, he’s built a reputation for nurturing and showcasing other African talent, launching Empowa in 2019, an incubation initiative designed to nurture and support up-and-coming artists in Africa.

The Afropop superstar Mr Eazi teamed up with talent from his emPawa Africa mentorship program to drop One Day You Will Understand,  a set of melodic, emotive Afrocentric tunes, listen to I No Go Give Up On You [here].  
He’s had a monumentous rise over the past year, featuring with the likes of BeyonceA$AP RockGiggsBurna Boy and Diplo – with a special collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Major Lazer on global lockdown hit ‘Oh My Gawd’ [watch video here].

Mr Eazi’s ascent into global stardom has seen him clock over 350 million YouTube views and more than 6 million Spotify streams per month, making him one of the most streamed African artists worldwide. In 2020, the sky is truly the limit for Eazi, one of the true leaders in the music business today.
