The industry has come to know and love the signature, ethereal sounds of the producer CYRIL HAHN. During the early part of his career, the Bern, Switzerland native was known for his signature remix work of Solange, Jessie Ware, Haim, Sigur Rós and the ever-popular Destiny’s Child remix of ‘Say My Name’.
He continued his successful run with three EPs on the UK imprint PMR Records/Virgin EMI (Perfect Form, Voices & Begin). Additionally, Cyril Hahn explored new areas of interest. He contributed scores for various film projects, produced music for other artists and released an LP on the London based underground label Coastal Haze under his alias Pool Boy.
Cyril is a highly-sought-after remixer, who takes originals and turns them into new renditions for major releases. His recent official remixes include R&B Legend Maxwell (Shame), young Canadian pop-star Johnny Orlando (What If), and recently a collaborative release with Little Boots.
Cyril’s work continues to hit a significant nerve with fans and his peers. He has played around the globe headlining sold out shows and billed at some of the world’s most popular music festivals including Bestival (UK), Osheaga (Canada) Falls Festival (Australia), Roskilde (Denmark), Osheaga (Canada) Bestival (UK) and Fuji Rock Festival (Japan).
This year will see Cyril Hahn release his most personal songs yet. Not only does his new sound feature his own lyrics and vocals but the songs also manage to weave together an introspective balearic sound with his love for both warm club- ready house music and infectious 80s disco classics.
