Labelled a "vital cog in the machinery of UK Dance" by Mixmag and nominated for Best Radio Show in the DJ Mag Best of British Awards, you might feel left out if you haven't heard about Coco Cole yet.
Coco's prowess on the decks has also received reputable stamps of approval. Hand-picked by Martin Solveig to become resident for his weekly My House night at the legendary Pacha in Ibiza, Coco exquisitely opens the main room weaving Chicago classics into disco & new house cuts making her an integral member of the My House family. Coco has played for Carl Cox at Space, Maya Jane Coles and Friends, UK institutions XOYO, Stealth & Rainbow Warehouse, festivals including Secret Garden Party & Bestival, & the main room of mysterious Berlin club Sysiphos, as her alias.
Turning to production, Coco starts 2017 with a release on house legend Marshall Jefferson’s new label Freakin 303 and later this year will be launching her own label & unique family of artists too.
On radio, Coco is the voice of dance music across Capital & Capital XTRA reaching nearly 9 million listeners every week in the UK. Coco then closes the weekend on Capital XTRA with her highly respected taste-making show on Sunday nights. This show boasts exclusive weekly mixes from esteemed artists like Giorgio Moroder, Simian Mobile Disco & Skream including undiscovered & emerging talents like Fatima Yamaha, Avalon Emerson & Voicedrone. Coco continually unearths new talent with her Say Yes compilation series & through promoting club nights on the underground London scene, most notably her "queer sweat-fest reprobate of a party" Spin Cycle at the notorious Dalston Superstore.
