Matthew Tavares – best known for their roles within pioneering jazz band, BADBADNOTGOOD – has presented a number of albums since his departure under various guises (Matty, Dandelion) or alongside collaborators such as fellow BBNG member Leland Whitty, where they take in a sublime combination of modern jazz, impressionist classical music, and Arthur Verocai-esque arrangements.

Matthew Tavares is a Grammy-winning artist in his own right and achieved international acclaim with BADBADNOTGOOD; Tavares was one of the band’s founders before amicably departing in 2019. Beyond BBNG, the credits include a plethora of modern day stars such as with Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Little Simz, Kali Uchis, and Kaytranada, and production work for Travis Scott, Taylor Swift, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, amongst others.
