A hard-boiled trio of top musicians out of Glasgow, AKU! always make a powerful statement when they perform. They generate their sound with saxophone and trombone, trading between the roles of a rhythm section and a frontline with the use of effects on top of highly intense drums.

Fusing together the genres of noise-rock, Afrobeat and hip-hop AKU! are thriving to follow in the footsteps of artists including Death Grips, Sons of Kemet, Fela Kuti and The Thing.
